Film series spotlights ocean planning
Nov. 27, 2012

Narragansett, R.I. — With partial support from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the University of Rhode Island has produced two new videos about ocean planning issues as they relate to offshore renewable energy (http://zygotedigitalfilms.wistia.com/medias/6cx4kpnvic) and fisheries (http://zygotedigitalfilms.wistia.com/medias/5gjc6wny4p). These follow the initial video in the series, “America's Ocean Economy: Challenges and Opportunities.” One final video in the series will be completed and posted shortly.

Other funding partners include The Ocean Conservancy, The Nature Conservancy, Marine Ecosystems and Management (MEAM), the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council, the Rhode Island Sea Grant College Program, and the University of Rhode Island Coastal Resources Center.
