Purpose
This grant supports a portfolio of national nursing workforce research using three national datasets, with the goal of developing improved empirical estimates of future national and regional Registered Nursing (RN) workforce needs. The research will provide new estimates of the factors that affect RN labor force participation and will update estimates of the future supply of RNs. The findings from this research will be submitted to peer-reviewed journals and disseminated nationally.
