Each of the 20 Bay Area hospitals listed below is using a two-year grant to implement the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's 100K Lives Campaign interventions. The 100K Lives Campaign is a national effort to implement six scientifically based clinical interventions that address leading sources of mortality and complications within hospitals. Through this grant, the 20 hospitals will enroll in the 100K Lives Campaign, implement interventions, participate in a regional patient safety collaborative, and report aggregate mortality data to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
