Last week, Sal Pizarro of the San Jose Mercury News highlighted a new exhibit at the Tech Museum of Innovation located in downtown San Jose. At the BioDesign Studio, visitors can use lab gear to make multicolored bacteria, or make structures and shapes out of wood particles and mycelium, the vegetative part of mushroom fungus.
