The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation today announced the appointment of Felicia Chiu, previously of Farallon Capital Management, as the Director of Public Equities and Fixed Income for its $5 billion investments portfolio.

"Felicia’s investment philosophy and depth of experience are strongly aligned with the Foundation's existing strategy and portfolio," said Denise Strack, CIO. "We are thrilled to welcome her to the team."

Felicia Chiu will assume leadership of the Foundation's public equities and fixed income portfolio, which represents a significant portion of the Foundation's assets. Prior to Farallon, she was active in the asset management industry at Hellman & Friedman, Barclays Global Investors, and Morgan Stanley. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School with a B.S. in Economics.
