On Thursday, May 26, an event in Lima marked the official launch of the Peru Legacy Initiative, a Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) effort that aims to secure long-term financing for Peru’s protected area systems, and which is supported in part by the Moore Foundation. The project is led by a diverse group of partners and will provide park rangers and other local entities with the tools and support they need to help conserve Peru’s natural resources.

A video from WWF highlighting this project can be found here.
