Where can you see how the future of salmon farming looks? Well, start here: CBC’s The National recently featured the BC-based ‘Namgis First Nation’s Kuterra project. With partial funding from Moore through Tides Canada's Salmon Aquaculture Innovation Fund, the project has been testing the feasibility of land-based, closed containment aquaculture as a more sustainable alternative to ocean-based farms.
