This grant supports Pacific Marine Conservation Council to work with scientists, managers, and local fishermen to develop a management system including an area-based allocation for the Orford Reef in Oregon’s Nearshore Fisheries Management Plan. A key outcome of the grant is an area-based allocation for blue and black rockfish in the Port Orford Community Stewardship Area.
