The California Institute for Health Systems Performance is using this planning grant to form the decision-making and pilot implementation bodies necessary to successfully launch the Clinical Nursing Science Institute. Outcomes include increased capacity and a pilot program for evidence-based nursing practices program, recruitment of four sites, identification of resource requirements and two to four outcome candidates, and an evaluation plan.
