Illinois Nurses Foundation was established by the Illinois Nurses Association in honor of its 100th anniversary. The foundation collaborates with community partners in promoting the health of the public by supporting nurses through charitable, research and educational initiatives. In developing the nursing profession to transform health care in Illinois, the foundation provides scholarship funding to students of nursing and nurses, funds scholarly initiatives that promote the health of people and development of the nursing profession and informs the public about health issues and nursing.
