Founded in 1975, the National Association of Hispanic Nurses is a professional association committed to advancing the health in Hispanic communities and to lead, promote and advocate the educational, professional and leadership opportunities for Hispanic nurses.
The organization has over 3,000 members across dozens of chapters in over 20 states. With offices in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C., the association sponsors an annual conference, as well as meetings, trainings and webinars. The National Association of Hispanic Nurses Awards recognize members for their demonstrated excellence in nursing education, community service and for their spirit and dedication in serving the Hispanic community. In addition, the organization offers nursing scholarships and publishes the Hispanic Health Care International, a bilingual, peer-reviewed journal, as well as a quarterly newsletter.
