The University of Camerino, established in 1336, is located in Camerino, Italy, and is the 16th oldest university in the world. The university carries on an important tradition in didactics and scientific research and offers a range of innovative degrees throughout its faculties. Students, alumni and faculty have received prestigious national and international awards and recognition. The university enrolls approximately 10,000 students and employs more than 600 faculty and staff. With 13 departments across five campuses, the university is divided into five schools or faculties: architecture, jurisprudence, pharmacy, science and technology and veterinary medicine.   

The School of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine offers degrees to undergraduates and graduates, equipping students with cutting-edge technological approaches used in biomolecular, diagnostic and nutritional biology.
