Winrock International is a nonprofit organization that works with people in the United States and around the world to empower the disadvantaged, increase economic opportunity and sustain natural resources.

The institute was founded in 1985 when Winrock International Livestock Research and Training Center merged with the Agricultural Development Council and the International Agricultural Development Service to form Winrock International Institute for Agricultural Development.

Based in Little Rock, AR, Winrock International’s significant innovations in agriculture, the environment, clean energy and leadership development help people improve their livelihoods while protecting the resources on which they rely.
