Foundation president, Harvey Fineberg, and chairman emeritus and co-founder, Gordon Moore, discuss the Statement of Founders’ Intent with staff.
El Camino Hospital is a community hospital founded in 1957 to serve Santa Clara County residents with campuses in Mountain View and Los Gatos, California. Clinical services and community health programs provide a range of local care options. A variety of classes, seminars and screenings improve the health of the greater community and range from yoga and meditation for cancer patients to Alzheimer’s support groups and postpartum wellness. The hospital’s Chinese Health Initiative addresses the unique needs of the Chinese community and supports the hospital in providing culturally appropriate care. Its home health program provides short-term nursing care, rehabilitation therapy and education for people needing home health support.
The El Camino Hospital Foundation raises money to meet the health needs of those served by the hospital’s facilities and partners. Special projects and events focus on advancements in cancer care, mental health services for adolescents and heart disease prevention for people of Southeast Asian descent.
