The Association of California Nurse Leaders is a professional organization working to position nurse leaders to influence health care decisions. Headquartered in Sacramento, the association supports 16 chapters across the state and is an affiliated member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
The organization offers professional development for current and emerging nurse leaders, advocates for advancement of the nurse profession and promotes quality care delivery and patient safety. In addition, the association addresses the legislative and regulatory issues confronting the profession and serves as the nursing voice in health policy debates. Educational programming includes an annual conference, webinars and leadership training for frontline nurse managers. A monthly newsletter and quarterly electronic magazine highlight best practices, industry trends and urgent calls to action.
