Founded in 1948, Universidad de los Andes is the first private institution of higher education in Colombia. Located in Bogota’s historical center, the private research university is considered one of the top universities in Latin America. The university offers 31 undergraduate, 18 doctoral and 38 graduate degree programs across nine faculties, three special academic entities and a joint academic venture with the medical institution Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation. Enrollment stands at over 15,000 students with over 600 academic staff.
