Based in San Jose, California, the O’Connor Hospital Foundation has strived to increase community awareness of health care services and philanthropic opportunities that support the healing ministry of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. O’Connor Hospital’s mission is to provide the sick and the poor with comprehensive excellent health care that is compassionate and attentive to the whole person: body, mind and spirit.
Established in 1983, the foundation’s philanthropic activities touch every single clinical program at O’Connor Hospital, funding services, equipment and capital projects that are above the normal operating budget. In keeping with the philosophy of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, the O’Connor Hospital Foundation works to increase community awareness of health care services for the sick and the poor and philanthropy for charitable services to support O’Connor’s mission and vision of the future.
