Established in 1926, College of Marin is one of 112 public community colleges in California accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Its two campuses are located in Kentfield and Novato and serve around 11,000 students of all ages each year. The two campuses serve a county population of approximately 250,000 residents.
The college offers two-year associate degrees and participates in guaranteed admissions to specific University of California campuses, California State Universities and private universities. It also provides 35 two-year vocational and career programs, as well as basic skills, English as a Second Language (ESL) education and community education classes.
