Biography

Prior to joining the Foundation, Aneesha interned with the Center for Climate and Aerosol, the USGS Oregon Water Science Center and Portland State Partnership, and the Applied Coastal Ecology Laboratory in Portland, Oregon. The projects she has collaborated on include quantifying black carbon emissions from diesel locomotives, analyzing California microplastic legislation, and constructing a qualitative assessment of student engagement with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in higher education curriculum.

In 2021, her work as a DEI student committee member was recognized with the President's Diversity Award and an honorable mention for the Honor's College Academic Achievement Award.

Aneesha earned a B.S. in environmental science and management from Portland State University Urban Honors College.
