Biography
Cathy collaborates with colleagues across the foundation to deliver training for processing grants and adhering to private foundation legal requirements. Cathy provides compliance oversight and process support to Environmental Conservation Program colleagues and trustees in their annual grantmaking. Cathy also volunteers for PEAK Grantmaking, a national community of philanthropy professionals dedicated to advancing equitable, effective grantmaking practices.
Prior to joining the foundation, Cathy worked as a litigation secretary for over 15 years in San Francisco and four years in legal data management in New York City. In her free time Cathy enjoys creating ceramic art, gardening, home improvement projects, silk screening, swimming, tai chi and strength training.
Cathy received her B.A. in humanities from Dominican University of California, with honors, and a Leadership Certificate from Dominican University’s School of Business and Leadership.
