Biography
Kate joined the Moore Foundation in 2023 after more than twenty years of administrative and project management experience in performing arts, media, and advertising industries. Before joining the foundation, she worked at the San Francisco Symphony, where she served as special assistant to the chief executive officer. Kate also provided administrative and project support to the executive office and leadership team and served as primary liaison to the board of governors. She previously held key EA positions at the symphony supporting the chief marketing officer, and the chief revenue and advancement officer.
Kate attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied classical violin performance. In addition to playing the violin, in her free time Kate enjoys writing, gardening, vegetarian cooking, yoga, and hiking with her dog.
