Raincoast Conservation Foundation and partners are using this grant to conduct baseline research on marine species that would be affected by oil and gas exploration and development and the Pacific North Coast Integrated Management Area (PNCIMA) process. The key outcome for this grant includes new understanding of species distribution, abundance, and habitat use incorporated into the PNCIMA planning process and oil and gas decisions.
