This grant supports the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Marine Protected Area Center (MPA Center) to create the California Human Uses Atlas. The Atlas will provide GIS data layers, displayed as maps, of the full suite of human uses of state and federal waters off California through a rapid and repeatable process to inform comprehensive area-based management.
