This grant supports Forest Trends to develop a suite of Katoomba events focused on Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) mechanisms that aim to improve the capacity of developing countries to carry out REDD activities and build solid REDD frameworks of action in different regions around the world. This grant will convene key international stakeholders, galvanize REDD collaboration via a South to South network of stakeholders, and provide this network with tools and technical support, related to the ongoing activities and opportunities that exist for bringing financing to forests in the form of REDD programs.
