Foundation president, Harvey Fineberg, and chairman emeritus and co-founder, Gordon Moore, discuss the Statement of Founders’ Intent with staff.
The grant to the East Contra Costa County Habitat Conservancy will support the protection of the 221-acre Fox Ridge Property, a key step in preserving a critical wildlife corridor in eastern Contra Costa County. The grant will leverage the financial and operational commitments of the Conservancy, the East Bay Regional Park District, and the U.S. Department of the Interior and support expansion of the large-scale conservation area around Mount Diablo envisioned by the East Contra Costa County Habitat Conservation Plan / Natural Community Conservation Plan.
