This grant to the Living Oceans Society supports the work of the Coastal Alliance for Aquaculture Reform (CAAR). CAAR seeks to reform salmon aquaculture production practices in order to protect wild salmon ecosystems. In January 2006, CAAR entered into a formal "Framework for Dialogue" with farmed salmon producer Marine Harvest This grant will provide CAAR with resources to implement the Framework agreement.
