With this grant, Mills College is partnering with Samuel Merritt College (the largest source of nurses in the greater East Bay) to launch a new intercollegiate Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Students who successfully complete the first two years at Mills are guaranteed admission into the two-year Nursing Theory and Clinical Program at Samuel Merritt College. Outcomes include the addition of 80 to 100 BSN nurses to the Bay Area workforce.
