The Marin Agricultural Land Trust is using this grant to acquire an agricultural conservation easement over the 714-acre Giacomini Dairy and create a baseline set of digital aerial photographs of the area. Outcomes include permanent protection of 714 acres of agricultural land and open space on the eastern shore of Tomales Bay. Tomales Bay is part of the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary and has been named a "Wetland of International Importance."
