Through implementation of evidence-based practices, the project goals are a reduction in severe sepsis and septic shock mortality of non-Do Not Resuscitate patients at five Sutter hospitals, reduction in the percent of patients at one hospital with significantly high or low levels of blood glucose levels while hospitalized, and improved patient safety outcomes through nurse leadership development and the adoption of "Just Culture" principles.
