To acquire, configure, test, and deploy a revolutionary radar system that is capable of observing detailed physical processes that occur during glacial ice flow at the ocean-ice interface. Funding will be used to develop an interferometric system that has a much finer spatial and temporal resolution than any current method, and to perform observations at two climatically important glaciers in Greenland: Jakobshavn Isbræ and Kanga Nunata Sermia.
