The project will support the development of revised severe sepsis and septic shock treatment guidelines, incorporation of recently published evidence; revising severe sepsis and septic shock treatment bundles in line with the revised guidelines; updated campaign tools that reflect the new guidelines and bundles; and research to address additional high priority questions for identification and treatment of severe sepsis and septic shock.
