Nature and Culture International and its local partners are using this grant to strengthen park management and enforce park boundaries in three strategic Andean sites: Abiseo River National Park, Cordillera Colan Reserve Zone, and Alto Mayo Protected Forest. Together, these areas bolster the larger Condor-Kutuku corridor—nearly five million hectares—that runs the extent of Peru's northern Andes and Ecuador's Amazonian lowlands. Outcomes include placement of 462,000 hectares under solid conservation management.
