The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is using this grant to implement its 100K Lives Campaign, which is aimed at saving 100,000 lives nationally. Through the Campaign, IHI is motivating and supporting hospitals in implementing six proven clinical interventions that address leading sources of mortality and complications within acute care hospitals. Outcomes include delivery of Campaign services to, and the report of mortality data for, 15 to 20 participating Bay Area hospitals.
