The Association of California Nurse Leaders is using this grant to examine the role of RNs in clinical interventions proven to reduce patient mortality. The study is focused on Rapid Response Teams and the prevention of Ventilator Acquired Pneumonia—two interventions being implemented as part of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s 100K Lives Campaign. Outcomes include documentation and dissemination of the findings concerning the role of RNs in two clinical interventions.
