The University of Vermont, Gund School for Ecological Economics is using this grant to conduct a year-long series of workshops and symposia that will advance the understanding of ecosystem services as a source of sustainable conservation finance. Outcomes for this grant include the development of computer models that integrate ecosystem function, services, and human benefits at multiple spatial scales; new valuation techniques for ecosystem services; and dissemination of models and associated products among stakeholders and decision-makers.
