This grant to the Save-the-Redwoods League will be used to protect the ancient redwood forest, in Butano State Park located in San Mateo County, in perpetuity. The result of this grant will lead to the permanent protection of the 100-acre property and the ultimate transfer to the State of California or another public entity. This will result in preserving its redwood and other forest lands for future generations.
