This grant allows San Francisco General Hospital to develop a program to better prepare associate-degree (ADN) and foreign-trained nurses for specialized clinical practice. Outcomes include improvement of RN retention, reduction of RN vacancy rates, and enhancement of clinical and critical thinking skills among newly hired ADNs and foreign-trained RNs.
